The Reyes Academy is an inspiring youth program designed for girls aged 13-17, providing a holistic experience that nurtures creativity, self-expression, and personal growth. Participants receive training in dance, modeling, and social media, equipping them with the skills to confidently navigate both the performing arts and the digital world.
Through artistic exploration, students develop self-confidence, leadership skills, and a deeper connection to their cultural heritage. The academy fosters a supportive and inclusive environment where youth engage in meaningful community service, mentorship, and performance opportunities.
By integrating cultural awareness, digital literacy, and artistic expression, the Reyes Academy ensures that students gain essential life skills that extend beyond the program. As part of Events That Benefit, the academy is committed to empowering youth, strengthening communities, and promoting cultural appreciation through the arts.

The Reyes Academy is structured program, covering key artistic, leadership, and cultural competencies. Folklorico as a Complex Art Form: A central aspect of Herencias' mission is to dispel the notion that folklorico is merely a performance.
